What is Coaching?
"Coaching is partnering with clients in a thought-provoking and creative process that inspires them to maximize their personal and professional potential.
Professional coaches provide an ongoing partnership designed to help clients produce fulfilling results in their personal and professional lives. Coaches help people improve their performance and enhance the quality of their lives.
Coaches are trained to listen, to observe, and to customize their approach to individual client needs. They seek to elicit solutions and strategies from the client; they believe the client is naturally creative and resourceful. The coach's job is to provide support to enhance the skills, resources, and creativity that the client already possesses."

Coaching Is...
a dynamic partnering in which a coach supports a client's development via self-exploration, discovery, insights, shifts in perspective, and empowerment.
Coaching is Not...

A Coach Is...
a catalyst for change, growth, shifts, personal expansion and development. Someone who provides feedback and questions to support your self-exploration, celebrates your progress, challenges your self awareness, encourages your self-responsibility, and supports your self-empowerment.
A Coach Does Not...
tell you what to do, control your free will, explore why your mother yelled at you when you were a child, enable victimhood/co-dependency/co-addiction, or in any way assume responsibility for your choices or your life.
A Coach Models...
maturity, insight, masterful communication skills, lightness, genuine curiosity, compassionate detachment, discernment, graciousness, and honesty.
